Selling Tips

First Impressions
“First Impressions,” really do matter. Weed, trim shrubs, clean or repaint your front door. Do a general tidy-up outside. Mow the lawn.

Clean
Spring Clean your house from top to bottom before putting it on the market. Make sure your windows are clean inside and out. Clean off kitchen counters and double check bathrooms before any viewings.

Eliminate Clutter
Clutter makes a house seem smaller and disorganized.

MINOR REPAIR
If you have cracked tiles or a dripping tap try to get them fixed before any viewings.

Neutralise
Neutral colours sell. It’s a fact. Neutral is safest.

Pets
Always keep your pets under control. Try confining them to a specific area.  You may love your pets, but they can be off-putting to other people, and smells can be offensive.

Lighting
Make sure you have adequate lighting in every room, check all your bulbs work.

The Little Extras
Use mirrors to reflect light and space, and use plants and fresh flowers to bring life to rooms and add a natural fragrance.
The smell of fresh bread & coffee really are winners.
